I have enjoyed a lot of the information I have read on this forum and believe the time is approaching to make some kind of contribution worthy of the other members hereof. I don't think I have enjoyed a forum so much since my days on harp l (harmonicas not marxes). So I have written a song entitled "The Ballad of the E ESU" eesu being separated for pronunciation purposes pursuant to poetic license. The song is written and I expect to get it recorded and to post a link to it within a few days. This is what is called a tease to hype the song. If you want a hint of what to expect you can start with www.geezers4jesus.com Try Thaw Ted on the music link.

Try this. I have a bad ear infection so I can't hear it very well. I think it has too much reverb and will try again when my ear clears up.

I had half a duck in lake Ronkonkoma in a German restaurant when I was a kid.

I can't believe I ate the hole thing!

The Bavarian Inn is closed. Swallowed up by the Lake. But that's a different song.

It is a bit echoey, a bit hard to understand, but I like the tune!

Have you considering re-recording in a softer environment?
Thanks!

Lake Ronkonkoma in NY. I live only a mile away from the ghost of the duck you ate.

How could you possibly have eaten the whole duck when they served only half of it?

I ate the whole half!

I was eight or nine years old. They had a ice sailboat on display as I recall. Stranger than my apetite is the curious legend that lake ronkonkoma is bottomless!

I would like to hear the sceptics take on that.

Ballad of EESU? What about the Ballad of Jed Clampett! IF that darn hillbilly hadn't been shoot'n at some food and up from the ground came a bubblin crude, we would have had electric cars and an EESU years ago. Arghhhhh

New clearer version. The old version has been deleted and the above reference has been edited as well.

It's here. No, not the EESU or the City Zenn but the "ringtone". Go to www.geezers4jesus.com, click the music link, go to the bottom of the page and you will find a ringtone for the Ballad of the E ESU. It's a free download and you can set it for that special person who only calls you about evs and/or Eestor, like DW or IC or even B.

"legend that lake ronkonkoma is bottomless"

Yep its the lake by my house in Long Island NY.

Other legends are: claiming a life each year.
