Or a turnaround specialist--why would EEstor want that? More likely W. Michael Long is KP's go-to-guy for new management when the old one fails. Looking over Dick Weir's shoulder, and protecting KP's investment. If and when Eestor really gets a product, and Eestor is no longer the name of a dream but rather a (very lucrative) business, I wonder if we'll see more of Long and KP. Weir would need help running a billion-dollar business. David Joslin ------------------------------------------ Eestor / Zenn -- not a product or an event, but a way of life. |

DW may be a heck of an engineer (a rambling wreck from Georgia tech?) but that doesn't automatically translate into a great CEO. It is comforting to know that there is some smarts on the board for the future phases of EEStor. B, what are these new header pictures, who are those guys and what are they listening to?

What would there be to salvage if the core technology does not work? Anyway, I was not making a disparaging remark about DW,
I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech, and a hell of an Engineer
Oh, if I had a daughter, sir, I'd dress her in white and gold,
Oh, I wish I had a barrel of rum, and Sugar three thousand pounds

What would there be to salvage if the core technology does not work? Lot's of stuff. Component IP (the powder purification process alone has great commercial value), beneficial external partnerships and agreements, capital assets acquired. For the amount invested in EEstor, you could recover your money selling the powder purification process to someone. There's just not very much money tied up here yet. “Historically, the claim of consensus has been the first refuge of scoundrels; it is a way to avoid debate by claiming that the matter is already settled.”- Michael Crichton |

I like the positive vibes but first things first. Ya need a viable proven product before assembling the perfect team to market it. Lensman Scale: 6 All truth passes through three stages: First, it is ridiculed; Second, it is violently opposed; and Third, it is accepted as self-evident. |

Well, EEStor has said all along that they are working on all aspects at once. You tell me. |

I'd also like to point out that in most businesses where production costs are so high, marketing is usually way ahead of production. If they don't do marketing, how do they know their product is even viable? Not worth the risk with these high stakes. Take software, for instance. Quite often, the marketing plan, and most of the sales collateral is built even as much as a year out prior to the release of the actual code. In some cases, the code isn't even started :) a.k.a. vaporware! Self-proclaimed Crackpot Believer! My Cheerios made me do it!

What on earth does this have to do with EESTOR?
