After b and I had read through the all emails, I remember saying "This stuff reads like the blog." This email shows even the AFRL needs to have a moderator from time to time. :-)

What I find interesting is how DW says that 'yes, I'm in close contact with this group' to a different group and vice versa, when in fact he's not in close contact with anyone.

They did mention requests for samples of powder, material, or device. Not sure how many were made.

I commented in the first thread dedicated to the AFRL FOI documents that the email had a "snide" tone to it. I was right.

I believe snide, cynicism, sarcasm and downright disbelief is what is is happening at AFRL.

There should be. DW has dressed himself up as a conman. He deserves to be treated like a conman until he proves otherwise. He made the wild claims. He says he can rewrite the laws of physics with no proof. He was on the infamous leaked audio. Everything he has done points to conman.

Once is awhile you will find a nice honest helpful person dressed as a gang member. Most of the time you find a gang member dressed as a gang member. If you approach each of these you will be robbed more than you will be helped. It is very prudent to be be skeptical.

Weir would not even allow his own son in.
And what makes you think that USAF people want to be in this scam?

It looks to me like they are aware that black swans can happen, and so are giving EEstor some attention. It seems absurd just on basis of 100X anyone else + no demo, they have somone with a tech argument it can't work - its actually the Gauss argument I think. Not 100% foolproof, but pretty near.

So they have not much belief. Can you be surprised at the slightly negative tome? Here (from their POV) is somone promissing them the moon who cannot deliver.

DW told the investors he was in thick with the hand tool people and UL. I would venture to guess that those were Texas sized exaggerations.

Our IP lawyer often cautioned that the "e" in e-mail stands for "evidence", and anything that one said on blogs, face- book, or the result of Googling" can be used to impeach testimony.
